This is a very well written story Rina, I like the details you put from the adjectives I'lll be waiting for you to right more!

Okay folks, here's my story, it's a Pokemon story called Mysterious legends I hope you enjoy it and let me know what you think about it^^. Here's the prologue.


Mysterious Legends

Prologue

On December 11th 1997. It was a frosty night; it was dark, and extremely cold. The wind howled ferociously and the blizzard danced around in the air, swirling and twirling while glistening like small ice shards through the air. A shadowy figure wearing a long black cloak walked through the fierce, rough, white snow followed by five other shadowy figures, who were also wearing the same long black cloaks which covered their faces, arms and body to keep them warm. In the centre of their uniform a blazing red ‘X’ mark was shown as it glowed in the darkness of that winter night. They silently walked for a while as their hot breaths turned to clear smoke from the cold, one of the men who was shivering a intensely spoke out “H-hey b-boss? A-are we nearly there yet?” the man leading the group responded “Yes, we are almost there, just a little further” sighing, a girl said “What a relief, I am sick and tired of this snow and the cold. I want to go into a lovely big cave and sit by a fire” another girl replied “I know what you mean; I want that to, I miss my home…” the third man stared at both girls sternly “Quit your bickering ladies! We’re almost to Mount Layat anyways” the third girl intervened shouting at the man who had just spoken to the girls saying “Hey Manny! You shouldn’t be so harsh on these two; they’re working just as hard as anyone else in the group!” Manny growled answering back “Well this is the way I am alright?! So don’t be telling me what I should or not do Lavender!” the boss calmly signalled for his group to stop as he turned around walking up to both Manny and Lavender looking at them seriously “Now, now you two we do not wish for any quarrelling to be happening, so I suggest you two calmly and silently quieten your voices so we do not disturb the magnificent Pokémon here alright?” they both sighed “Alright boss.” Looking at their surroundings they saw many Pokémon sleeping soundly as it made them both feel somewhat guilty, the boss then walked back to the front line signalling the group to move forward again as they did as they were commanded.


Reaching their destination after a while, they were standing at an entrance to a cave. All three girls at the back of the group squealed with excitement at the sight of the cave after seeing how enormous it was, the boss smiled with a glint of excitement in his eyes as if to say “I have waited so long for this moment.” They entered the grey-bluish cave walking quietly as only the wind could be heard.

Meanwhile deep in the depth of the cave guarding a medium sized grey coloured circular object which appeared to be glimmering in the darkness was a dragon with bird like wings, it’s silky, thick white fur covered its body protecting it from the cold, it’s head was shaped like a dragon’s but it’s face was like a bird’s. It had a very sharp long beak with two razor sharp teeth sticking out from its icy coloured beak, it’s forelegs and hind legs were also covered by the same thick fur as its sharp enormous talon like feet was dug into the ground. Sensing and hearing footsteps it knew that intruders invaded the entrance of its home and they were coming, it glared silently ahead into the mouth of the room it was in, rage burning in its dark blue deadly eyes it stood there lying in wait ready to face its enemies.
Suddenly, walking into the entrance of the Pokémon’s room the boss smiled with excitement as his Sapphire blue eyes widened with glee, he saw the furry white creature who was guarding the stone right in front of him “Truly, what a beautiful creature you are” he said, growling with disapproval of the human’s comment the dragon like bird roared as its cry echoed throughout the cave piercing the ears of its enemies and staring at them with the intention that it was not going to back down without a fight.

Grinning at the fact that this Pokémon wished to battle he became even more thrilled as a furry Pokémon he owned poked its head out from its master’s cloak meowing softly with eagerness, looking down at his purple, spotted friend he stroked the Pokémon gently between its ears as it closed its eyes showing its dark pink eyelids and purring soundly as its owner spoke out “Choroneko, let us show this Grypholeon how powerful the bonds between human and Pokémon truly is, shall we?” Choroneko grinned “Meow!” it replied, as his colleagues started to fear and worry for him, one of the men responded “But boss, this is a dragon and ice type Pokémon that you’re up against, are you sure that Choroneko will be able to defeat that Grypholeon?” the boss turned his head to face his subordinate as he replied “Do not doubt him. Choroneko, he was a special gift given to me by my older brother. Besides you should realize that it does not matter how big or small a Pokémon maybe, because they still hold a tremendous amount of mysterious power within them Gordon.” Gordon simply nodded and said to everyone else “Okay guys, I am confident that the boss can handle this, so let’s all just back down and watch” as they all silently stepped back a bit giving their leader some room as the boss smiled grateful for their decision giving them a thumbs up he turned back round to face the Grypholeon as it was impatiently looking at him growling angrily as if to say “Hurry up, I want to get this over and done with already” the boss started off ordering Choroneko as it jumped out of his cloak readying in its battle stance and sounding off its battle cry as it echoed throughout the cave just as Grypholeon’s did “Double team, go my friend!” Choroneko rapidly span round in circles creating illusionary copies of itself, it was then the dragon’s turn as it attacked firing a solid ice beam that Choroneko and its copies dodged effortlessly as two of the copies distracted getting out their sharp claws as they started cutting up the dragon’s front legs using the move fury swipes, the third was on its back using the move charm to lower the foe’s special attack and the fourth and fifth were also scratching the dragon’s hind legs using the same move as the first and second Choroneko.

The real Choroneko was hiding behind a rock as saw its chance and decided to attack from underground using the move dig as it dug its way underground rushing towards the enemy. Meanwhile, fighting the Choroneko copies foe Grypholeon became irritated, roaring in pain its sapphire eyes glew intensely, unleashing its dragon powers using the move dragon rage as a burst of purple-bluish energy emitted from the furry creature forcing away its foes with ease as they all fell to the ground disappearing. Now that it was clear from the distractions around it, hearing the sound of the Pokémon that was underground Grypholeon used the move earthquake splitting the ground apart as Choroneko was forced to jump out of hiding, growling it emitted its battle cry at him as Choroneko grinned not fazed by the piercing cry or from the mistake he had made as he smacked Gryphoelon hard in the face with a steel solid iron tail. Having enough of Choroneko’s insolence Grypholeon stood its ground as it slashed Choroneko across his body leaving a scar. Choroneko meowed in pain as it fell to the ground steadying itself as a flash of anger crossed his face clenching its teeth it gazed up at the mighty dragon Pokémon, in return Grypholeon stared down at him sternly as it suddenly fired an energy beam at Choroneko which he dodge with ease because of his speed, Choroneko back fired slashing his enemy using night slash as he landed a critical hit on Gryphoelon as it start to tire out. Smiling at Choroneko the man extended his hand ordering his Pokémon once more “Choroneko, finish that Grypholeon now, Night slash again” as Choroneko leaped high into the air with his paws glowing bright purple as he hitGrypholeon twice in its weak spot as it fell slowly onto the cold stone floor lying there unconscious. The man beckoned his purple friend back to his side as it leaped back into its master’s soft and warm cloak as its master praised it “Well done, Choroneko” as he and the rest of his group silently walked to the place where the grey stone lay as he obtained it from its spot, starting to feel sympathetic for the Pokémon his Choroneko defeated he whispered “I am terribly sorry for harming you Grypholeon, but I have to do this because it is for the best” as he turned towards his team he announced “Alright my fellow friends, our next destination is Nyukra town because Senyoko will be making an announcement speech there” as him and his team walked away out of the cave silently, heading for their next destination while riding on their flying type Pokemon.

Chapter 1


One morning in Venu Town at 7:00 am, the sun was shining brightly as the birds sang beautifully. Living in a small white and red roofed house covered by four glass square windows and a wooden door as an entrance there was a girl, she had long, wavey, tall dark red hair that was up to the length of her shoulders, her face was oval shaped and her skin was the colour of chocolate, her eyes were the colour of a fiery, golden gemstone, she was wearing a black ranger hat on her head, a dark purple top with a sapphire blue long sleeved jacket over it, she also wore black long trousers with a silver belt over it and white socks over her feet as she slung her Tool bag over her shoulder, cleaned up her room and opened the curtains to let the sun light through. After closing the light in her room she rushed downstairs and put her shoes on, as she was about to open the door to go out her mother called her from the corridor as she came walking towards her daughter “Amber, do you have everything with you honey?” as she stopped in front of Amber and pulled out a Pokegear and Poketech watch from her bag giving them to her daughter. Amber smiled “Yeah, I almost had everything” she giggled “Thanks mom” as she strapped the Poketech around her wrist and put the Pokegear in her jacket pocket and zipped it up. Her mother gave her a hug embracing Amber in her arms “Your welcome dear, just be careful out there alright?” her mother smiled as Amber embraced her mother “Yes mom, don’t worry” as they both let go of one another. Amber opened the door and waved goodbye to her mother, her mother waved back as Amber closed the door behind her heading towards Professor Lavender’s lab, her mother went back to attending her duties.

On her way to Professor Lavender’s lab another girl from next door shouted her name “Hey Amber! Wait up girl!” as she came running towards Amber to join her as her dark blue hair which was the colour of the night trailed behind her, she was pale skinned, she wore an orange top with a light blue long dress over it and black shoes and an emerald green scarf around her neck with a tool bag also slung over her shoulder. As she got closer, she slowed down until she was next to Amber and started to move in a walking pace. Amber smiled “Hey Lunar, so are you going to get your first Pokémon too?” Lunar grinned with excitement as her violet purple eyes glitter in the sun light “Yeah of course! That’s why I came to join you so I wouldn’t be late on getting my first ever Pokémon” as they carried on walking, they came to halt at the entrance of Professor Lavender’s lab. Lunar looked at Amber “What are you waiting for? Let’s go in” as they entered the lab.

Professor Lavender welcomed them with open arms “Hello my dears! Welcome, welcome! As you know I am Professor Lavender and I am a Pokémon researcher, I called you two here because I have a special job for the both of you” she walked over to a flat desk which contained two mechanical devices which were red and green in colour and were oval shaped as she picked them up showing them to the trainers “These devices are called Pokedexs they record what Pokémon you have seen and what Pokémon have been caught, now come and collect your Pokedexes and choose a Pokemon so you may start your journeys” as she pointed to a separate desk which contained the Pokeballs on them. Amber and Lunar walked up to the Professor and halted in front her as she handed them their Pokedexes “Now then, the Pokemon are no different to the starters which are out in the other regions but you can choose from the starters on this desk. First up we have a grass type, the second is a fire type and thirdly we have a water type, so take your time and choose wisely” Amber smiled “Lunar, you can go first since you’re the youngest” Lunar smiled back “Thanks Amber” as Lunar walked up to one of the desks which contained the pokeballs, as she looked carefully at them and thought what Pokemon she should choose. Suddenly the Professor spoke up again “Oh, I forgot to mention, there are also other starters you can choose from. I had them transported from the other regions” as she pointed again to the other five separate desks which were not far from the first white desk. Amber didn’t wait when she heard the professor say that, she walked over to the fourth desk which contained a fire Pokemon which looked like a chick, a water type which looked like a fish crossed with something else and a grass type which looked like a gecko “Hmm…I think I’ll choose you” as she pick up the pokeball in the centre of the other two. Looking up at Amber through the pokeball, the torchic simply turned its face away from her closing its eyes, Amber didn’t mind the way it had acted as she pressed the silvery, grey button which released the Pokemon out from its pokeball as a sparkling creamy coloured female chick appeared with orange small wings and flower shaped hair, the torchic suddenly hopped onto Amber’s shoulder and smiled at her “Torchic, torch!” it squawked as Amber responded “Ah so you’re a Torchic. Awesome! The name’s Amber nice to meet you little one. I think I'll name you Blaze”, after a while eventually Lunar choose a turtle which was turquoise blue in skin with an emerald green shell attached to its back and its red eyes were glowing with glee perched on Lunar's head as she happily told Amber “Look, I have a squirtle! I've named him Hydro.” Amber grinned “Hey, how about we have a battle! It’d be fun” Lunar grinned just as excited “Yeah, but not in the lab. How about outside instead” Amber nodded as they both walked side by side heading out of the lab. Just then the professor shouted " Hold on a minute!" as both Lunar and Amber turned around to face her "What is it professor?" Lunar replied "I think instead of battling each other, how about you head out to Nyukra Town? I heard the news on the television that someone is making a speech. I thought I would let you guys know because it seems important. Also, you can practice battle using the Pokémon you have with you now. The wild Pokemon here at route 1 are weak so you should have no problem with them at all dears." as she smiled at them expectantly as both girls bowed politely "Thank you professor!" as they excitedly hurried out of the lab, closing the door behind them as they headed off for Nyukra Town. Professor Lavender walked back to her computer and sat in her chair sighing with happiness "Teenagers these days, they're so full of energy" as she got on with her research work.

Mean while speeding through route 1, Lunar and Amber ran through every tall grass, encountering many different wild Pokemon as they were training their own. The wonders of the wild fascinated them with excitement as they happily laughed because of how much fun they were having. Upon battling and defeating the last two wild Patrats, Blaze the torchic was now level 11 while Hydro the squirtle was level 10. They stumbled upon their destination as they walked out from the last patch of tall grass "Well, here we are Amber Nyukra Town, the town that is said to have a big speech today." Amber spoke as Lunar silently whispered "The professor's got me wondering what on earth this speech is all about now." upon hearing her Amber replied "There's only one way to find out. Let's enter the town and heal our Pokemon up first though" as she rushed on ahead of Lunar while Lunar only just noticed amber disappeared into the town "Hey! Wait for me!" as she chased after Amber following her into the town.
